Appointment & Agreement Types

TSD DEALER accommodates many types of services and programs, known as Appointment / Agreement Types, that your operation may support (for example, a rental or test drive program). Each type determines how vehicles are scheduled, assigned, and tracked.

To turn on an appointment / agreement type at your location (and charge rates on those appointments / agreements), contact TSD Support at support@tsdweb.com.

The following appointment / agreement types are available:

  • Loaners. Track fleet on loaner appointments / agreements. All locations have this service, by default.

    • Contact TSD Support if you want to charge rates for loaners, and if you want to expose rates and models for external booking through an API integration.

  • Rentals. Track fleet rented out to customers as part of a rental program.

    • Contact TSD Support if you want to charge rates for rentals, and if you want to expose rates and models for external booking through an API integration.

  • Test Drives. Track fleet on test drives, where customers temporarily take possession of a new vehicle to determine if they want to buy it.

    • Contact TSD Support if you want to charge rates for test drives, and if you want to expose rates and models for external booking through an API integration.

  • Uber Rides (integration). Uber ride booking will be available for your location with Uber Ride integration. Contact your TSD Sales Representative at sales@tsdweb.com for more information.
  • Shuttles. Designate units as shuttles and assign them to shuttle agreements.
  • Internal Use. Track fleet used for internal purposes (for example, because an employee is moving it from one location to another).
  • Customer Vehicle Transfer (CVT) (integration). If TSD's Delivery and Collection is configured for the location, this service is available to track pickup and return of customer automobiles being serviced.
  • Third Party Service. Track agreements on which a third party is providing a unit to the customer, instead of your fleet.
  • Loyalty. Track fleet used as part a loyalty program.
  • Subscription. Track fleet used for a subscription program.
