Customer Criteria and Alerts

For an agreement (and, in some cases, an appointment) to be opened for a customer, the customer must meet certain eligibility requirements. Failure to meet these requirements prompts an alert under the field or at the bottom of the agreement, or a message prompt.

  • Customer's driver's license expiration date must not be expired

Override: None. You must update the license information.

  • Customer's driver's license expiration date must not expire before the expected Return Date.

Override: None. You must update the license information.

  • Customer's automobile insurance policy expiration date must not expire before the expected return date.

Override: None. You must update the insurance information.

  • Customer's driver's license number already exists in the system for another customer.

Override: None. A message is displayed with the option to choose to use the existing customer record.

Override: If the current location has the Allow Override of Customer Minimum Age on Agreements management setting turned on, employee roles with the Override Minimum Age Restriction permission can click OVERRIDE and confirm his or her user name and password credentials to override the customer minimum age requirement.
