Unit History (Event Logging)
Navigation from your Home screen: View a record > 
When you create a new unit record or update unit information (e.g., change a unit's status), an event is logged in the record's history, accessible from the History button on the side panel of the record.
Unit history includes associated agreements, field updates on the unit record, and more. Specifically, a record's history includes all of the following:
- Date: Date and time of the event (e.g., 12/12/2019 1:30 PM).
- Event Source: Web (for events generated from the web application), iOS Mobile (for events generated from the mobile app), or Automated Process (for events generated through an automated TSD DEALER process).
- Trigger: The name of the event or the action that triggered the event.
- Event Type: The type of event:
- Fleet, for unit record changes
- Agreement, for agreement-related unit changes
- Appointments, for appointment-related unit changes
- Telematics, for telematics-related events, for locations with TSD Telematics
- Change: Field changes; an old value is highlighted in red; an updated (new) value is in green.
- User: The employee who made the change, or "System", if the change was made automatically by TSD DEALER.
- An button for you to export a record's history to a Microsoft Excel .csv file.
Note: By default, your view is the Legacy version of unit events. Click the Unit History button to view the new version of events. Legacy information will not display history for units added to your fleet after August 1st, 2023. Since improvements will continue to be made to the Unit History dialog, the Legacy Info tab is available for you to access the previous version of Unit History, if necessary.
