Agreement Statuses

The following is a list of agreement-related statuses and tags you may find on the Agreement Hub or when viewing the agreement record. You can find most of these as search filter options on the left panel of the Agreement Hub, or as status tiles on the Agreement Operations dashboard.

Note: For fleet statuses, see "Fleet Statuses". For appointment statuses, see "Appointment Statuses".

Status tags are color-coded to help you quickly identify the type of action needed. For example, green statuses generally indicate active or ready records, gray tags indicate inactive records (e.g., closed agreements), yellow indicate in use or in service units, orange is advisory (e.g., for incomplete information), red tags require your attention, blue shows the agreement type, and purple tags are informative.

Open (Open): This agreement is currently open with all required customer and unit information complete.

Agreement Open 30 Days (Open Over 30 Days): This agreement is currently open, and has had an Open status for over 30 days, or another specified number of days, based on the Opened Over (Days) management setting. For example, if set to 15, then the search filter and tag will be Open Over 15 Days.

Overdue: This agreement is currently open with an Expected Return Date that has passed.

Turn on an Overdue Agreement alert, so you can be notified when an agreement is overdue. See "Alerts: Alerts Panel & Email Alerts" for more information.

Pending Contactless Signature (Pending Contactless Signature): For open loaner or rental agreements, this status reflects contactless agreements on which an agreement form PDF was emailed or texted to the customer for a remote signature, but is currently awaiting the customer's signature. See "Contactless Agreements: Remote Signatures" for more information.

Incomplete (Incomplete): (This status does not include Third Party or Internal Use Agreements.) Though this agreement has an Agreement Number, it is not yet Open because a Return Date has not been selected (and therefore no unit has been assigned). Depending on whether your location has the Enable Open Pending Agreements setting turned on, a Continue button is available to continue the agreement process.

For locations with Delivery and Collection integration with a partner, a Delivery and Collection agreement has a status of Incomplete until the provider's app returns and attaches the signed agreement form to the agreement in TSD DEALER.

Unit Pending (Unit Pending): (This status does not include Third Party or Internal Use Agreements.) This agreement has a Return Date selected but is still pending a unit assignment. Depending on whether your location has the Enable Open Pending Agreements setting turned on, a Continue button is available to continue the agreement process.

Closed (Closed): This agreement is closed.

Close Pend (Close Pending): If Close Pend is available for your location, this status reflects agreements that were Close Pended and must still be officially closed, though no charges have accrued. Units assigned to such agreements are still considered In Use until the agreement is closed.

Void (Void): This agreement is voided, or cancelled.

  • Agreement Voided 24 Hours (Void): This agreement has been void for at least 24 hours.
  • Agreement Voided 48 Hours (Void): This agreement has been void for at least 48 hours.
  • Agreement Voided 72 Hours (Void): This agreement has been void for at least 72 hours.

Due In: This agreement is currently Open with a Return Date of today.

MDL Returns: If your location uses MDL autoMation™ Integration, this status shows open agreements with MDL-detected unit arrivals. See "MDL autoMation Integration" for more information.

Collection (Collection). For locations with Delivery and Collection integration, this status shows open agreements that have a pending Collection of the unit from the customer within the next seven (7) days, based on the Collection Date. This tag will remain until the agreement is closed.

Opened Today. This agreement was opened at the location today; the Checkout Date is today's date. Opened Today is available as a status tile on the Agreement Operations dashboard, and as a search filter on the left panel of the Agreement Hub, under Status.

Recall (Recall): While this isn't actually an agreement status, you'll find this tag on agreement records if the unit assigned to it has been recalled by your manufacturer. If the unit is returned during an exchange or at close agreement (or close pend), the Recall tag is removed from the agreement record. See "Vehicle Safety Recalls" for more information.
