Best Practices: Delivery & Collection

TSD DEALER's Delivery and Collection integration helps you meet your customers' needs by bringing your dealership to their driveway, facilitating a process of delivering a unit and picking up a customer's vehicle for service, then collecting the loaner unit when the repair is complete.

Set Up Delivery and Collection

You can use TSD DEALER's Delivery and Collection feature without a partner integration. (If you prefer to use a third party driver app component, contact the TSD Sales Team by emailing sales@tsdweb.com.)

On the Management Hub (Admin > Management tab), edit () the setting: Delivery and Collection.
Turn on the No Partner Delivery and Collection option, available as long as your system is not already set up for an integration with a partner provider by TSD.
Click SAVE.

Create Delivery & Collection appointments and agreements

Delivery and collection appointments and agreements are just like any other appointments and agreements, but with additional address information.

When booking an appointment or opening an agreement, turn on the Enable option in the Delivery and Collection section,
Enter an address for Delivery and Collection, as applicable.
Complete the agreement process.

Track Delivery & Collection Appointments and Agreements

Track Deliveries: Click the Deliveries status tile on the Appointment Operations dashboard to view a list of booked Delivery and Collection appointments with a Checkout Date of today.
Track Collections: Click the Collections status tile on the Appointment Operations dashboard to view a list of open Delivery and Collection agreements due for collection today, based on the Collection Time.

View Delivery & Collection Addresses on a Map

On the View Appointment or View Agreement screen, the Delivery and Collection section displays address information (and Collection Time, if applicable). To view the Delivery address or Collection address on Google Maps, click the locate icon (); Google Maps is opened in a separate browser tab.
